For the first time in over a decade there's a reason to stay in Tierrasanta during the 4th of July weekend.

Would you like to volunteer for the Fun Run?  So where does all the money go?
 

 

 

On Saturday July 2, 2011 the Tierrasanta Foundation and friends are hosting a brand new event for Tierrasanta, something to stay home for on Independence Day weekend.

 

Please join us for the inaugural Tierrasanta Fun Run, a 3-mile run (or leisurely walk) through Tierrasanta. Bring the kids, bring your dog, dress funny for the occasion if you wish. Free commemorative T-shirts to all participants (age 10 and above)

 

After the Fun Run treat yourself to some suds at the Beer Garden hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Tierrasanta (age 21 and above, bring an ID).

 

Adult Tickets to the Fun Run are only $30, and this includes admission to the Beer Garden plus a commemorative T-shirt. 

 

Net proceeds will be used to benefit the community.

This event organized by the Tierrasanta Foundation (TF) and co-sponsored by the Tierrasanta Recreation Council, the Kiwanis Club of Tierrasanta, the Tierrasanta Community Emergency Response Team (T-CERT), the Tierrasanta FireSafe Council (T-FSC), the Tierrasanta Junior Womens Club (TJWC), and the Tierrasanta Village of San Diego (TVSD).
