The Taste wasn't quite as successful as we had hoped for two main reasons: 1) we did not sell out (we sold about 630 tickets but our goal was 800 tickets), and 2) we did not get enough corporate sponsorships to cover expenses, so some of the ticket revenue had to be used to pay expenses. We had hoped to give away upwards of $50,000, but when you total the various disbursements then we ended up with just over half of the goal we set for ourselves in terms of funds available for disbursement to community organizations.
But even though we fell short of our goal, we still have a lot of money to give away and now we are ready to send it out. Taste disbursement checks totaling over $23,000 will be going out soon. Click on the green button below to see the checks we are sending out.
