Affectionately known as “The Island in the Hills”, Tierrasanta parallels the rolling terrain of Mission Trails which hugs the Eastern side of the neighborhood. Located approximately 12 miles northeast of downtown, this gem of San Diego beckons the adventurous, the curious, and the explorer through its numerous multi-use trails, parks and vistas showcasing the undulating hills and gorgeous views.

Fix the Rec Center

The Tierrasanta Community Park & Recreation Center has been a mainstay of the community for over 30 years.

To continue to effectively serve Tierrasanta, the rec center is in need of modern amenities & upgrades.

Fire station 39 was put into service almost 45 years ago. Last year we improved the front gardens, but this year we’re thinking much bigger. Our community first responders need a larger, updated building, and we need your help.
